Amazon Lambda – Part 3 – Secured with an API Key

This blog entry will be short as it was much easier than I thought.  To secure an Amazon API, you can use an IAM user, an an API key or a mixture of both.  Since I am slowly working my way up from basic to more advanced, I choose to secure the satellite call with an API Key.  I played around with it a little until I found this article (see reference #4) which filled in the last bits of missing information.

The next blog entry will be using an IAM user.  I will probably mix the IAM user with an API key…you can never be to secure 🙂

Stay tuned!
